Now you see it, now you don't
We've spent the last couple of days in Tongyeung, on Korea's southeast coast. It's definitely the most pleasant city that we have visited thus far, and it is within quick ferry access to several dozen small islands, one of which we visited yesterday. We also took a cable car to the top of a mountain where we had a spectacular view of the city (that is, at least when the fog cleared up for a few minutes). But more on Tongyeung and some pictures once we have access to a computer.
The specialty here is octopus -- in particular, spicy cold octopus served with a side of radish, and seaweed rolls filled with rice, all eaten with a toothpick. For $8 for 2 people, not a bad deal. Still, after eating octopus four times over the last two days, we are ready for something different. In a few hours, off to Jeju, Korea's largest island.
Now you see it....now you don't.
